Course Booking, Deposit and Payment
Booking enquiries for all Hair & Co Academy Courses and workshops can be made via our website enquiries, by email or by calling our dedicated line.
On receipt of all booking enquiries, our dedicated course co-ordinator will confirm the latest availability for your chosen course, together with a deposit request. Courses remain ‘open’ until receipt of deposit or full course fee, using the following payment schedule.
Courses booked up to 6 months in advance of the scheduled course start date require a 50% deposit to confirm reservation of places.
Balance of course fee is requested and required no later than 8 weeks prior to the scheduled start date of the course.
Courses booked less than 6 months from the scheduled course start date require payment in full for all course feesCourse places are confirmed in writing, on receipt of payment received and will be issued on receipt of either deposit or full course fee, subject to the above payment schedule. The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Course Confirmation.
By entering into a contract with Hair & Co Academy you agree to make all payments due within the specified time schedule. Course balances ie full cost of the course fee are required no later than 8 weeks prior to the scheduled start date of the course. Failure to make payment within the contracted time will result in the automatic cancellation of your booking and the retention of all deposits paid.
Bookings made in advance of and prior to 12 months before the scheduled course start date are offered with a discount of 5%. Places must be booked and are subject to receipt of 50% deposit, received 12 months or more before the scheduled course start date. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other advertised offers.
From time to time advertised offers will be available to new and existing customers. These offers may not be used in conjunction with any other advertised or standard offers.
Cooling off period – all bookings are offered with a 14 day ‘cooling off period’. Full refunds are available subject to Hair & Co Academy receiving confirmation of your cancellation within a 14 day period. 14 days are calculated from the date of your course confirmation letter. Bookings that have been made 14 days or less from the start of the scheduled course date, regrettably are non refundable.
Customer Cancellations and refunds are offered using the following refund schedule.
6 - 12 Months prior to the scheduled course start date, full refund of fees paid, less an administration fee of £50 per booked place.
6 weeks – 6 months prior to the scheduled course start date 50% of Course fee refundable – 50% deposit retained.
2 - 6 weeks prior to the scheduled course start date 25% of the course fee refundable - 75% of course fee retained.
0 - 2 weeks prior to the scheduled course start date 0% of the course fee refundable – 100% of the course fee retained.
Non attendance – We regret that refunds cannot be offered for non attendance of course delegates.
Hair & Co Academy Cancellations
Hair & Co Academy reserve the right to make adjustments to, or reschedule courses at any reasonable time prior to the scheduled course date.
From time to time it may be necessary for Hair & Co Academy to cancel courses at short notice. This may be, but not restricted to, tutor absence or illness/ adverse weather conditions/ low enrolment numbers /Issues with building and facilities beyond our control/ or any event or situation that may arise, which affects the health and safety of our course delegates. In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled by Hair & Co Academy, course delegates will be offered a place on a mutually convenient rescheduled date or offered places on future scheduled courses. In the event of an alternative date not being agreeable, credit notes or full refund will be issued to customers.
In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled, we regret that Hair & Co Academy, cannot not reimburse expenses incurred by delegates, which may include, but are not limited to, travel expenses and accommodation costs.
Course attendees will be awarded certificates at the end of each course, after successfully completing for the full duration and after reaching a satisfactory level of understanding for the course content. Duplicate certificates can be purchased at £25 which covers the administration costs and postage.
